Taking pride in making great cheese from happy cows is what we’re about. Animal welfare is at the very top of our list when it comes to looking after our own herd and selecting the neighbouring farms we take our extra milk from.
Within the dairy, team effort and individual career progression is high on our agenda. We grow skills from within so if you want to learn, we can help you.
Outreach is important too. We belong to Cornwall Food and Drink, Dairy UK and sponsor the UK Cheese Guild and the Academy of Cheese. Dairy owner Catherine Mead OBE is chair of the Specialist Cheese Association and chair of the Cornwall Food Foundation. Dane Hopkins, Dairy Director, sits on the Food Advisory Board of Duchy College.
We also support the Cornwall Community Foundation, the Cornwall Food Foundation and the Cornish World Heritage Sites.
