Our Supreme Champion of the World Cheese Awards 2017 is made in 4kg rounds but by popular demand, we now cut and sell Kern in wedges weighing approximately 450g. Up to six weeks use by date.

Kern is originally derived from a Gouda style cheese and further developed with alpine style starter cultures, it shares the characteristics of both Dutch and Alpine cheeses.
Black on the outside and a golden curd within, Kern is close textured, matured over 24 months for a deep and rounded taste.

Moisture retention is key. Wrap in wax paper once cut.
Store below 8 degrees and serve at room temperature.
Kern wedges have a 8 week use by.
